Man kills family with axe

Gauteng police are investigating the motive behind the gruesome axe killing of three family members in Orange Farm, Johannesburg.
It's understood a 25-year-old man allegedly attacked his grandmother, aunt and three of his cousins with an axe on Sunday.
The suspect is currently in police custody.
It's unclear why the man allegedly attacked his family.
The police's Augustinah Selepe says a young girl who survived the incident alerted neighbours to what had happened.
"A six-year-old girl managed to escape the ordeal and alerted the neighbours. The suspect fled the scene, but was later arrested in Tembisa."
Two of the suspect's teenage cousins are in a critical condition in hospital.
