NIGERIA POLICE FORCE RE-LAUNCHES SARS FOR EFFECTIVE CRIME FIGHTING.

The Nigerian Police Force under Solomon Arase have re-launched the Special Anti robbery squad SARS to serve the general public more effectively and efficiently in the wake of increased crime in the society.

Launching the squad Inspector General of Police Solomon Arase said the first set of SARS operatives have been trained to best international policing standard to serve the public effectively

The police emphasized that the weapon profile of the Squad will be reviewed towards the engagement of less lethal technologies to reduce incidents of fatalities.

The police boss also launched the newly established Department Complaint Response Unit in a bid to be more accountable and move closer to the public on cases involving the officers of the force.
