EFCC files fresh charges against ex-NIMASA boss


The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has files two fresh charges against Akpobolokemi, former NIMASA DG, and yesterday.
About 24 hours after he was re-arrested in front of the Federal High Court in Ikoyi, Lagos, EFCC slammed two separate charges on Patrick Apkobolokemi, a former Director General of NIMASA and others.

North Korea sentences Canadian pastor to life in prison


North Korea's Supreme Court sentenced a Canadian pastor to life in prison with hard labor on Wednesday for what it called crimes against the state.
Hyeon Soo Lim, who pastors the Light Korean Presbyterian Church in Toronto, was given the sentence after a 90-minute trial. He has been in detention since February.
